After rumors point at Google retiring the Nexus 6P device, it seems that the rumors are turning into facts. Due to the constant problems on Nexus 6P device - from bootloop to premature shut down - Google and Huawei might be facing class action lawsuit.

Angry users are complaining for the unusable Nexus 6P after the problems persist. The issue started when some users upgraded their handsets to Android 7.0 Nougat. There have been a few glitches, as well, following the premature shutdown. According to the lawsuit filed by Chimicles & Tikellis LLP, the problem still persists even when the handsets were downgraded to Marshmallow.

To add more, LG-made Nexus 5X was reportedly getting a similar issue as some people complained the bootlooping has caused their handsets stuck in a cycle of restart and boot up process, Android Community reported.

Google shows its support by releasing a stable Android 7.1.2 for Nexus 6P and it requires at least 26MB of space. The software version is rolled out specifically to the Nexus 6P devices and it comes with bug fixes and a few improvements on the battery and camera departments. It is reported that the current software fixes audio issue. However, the recent update has caused another problem as some users face fingerprint reader bug, Android Authority reported.

Nexus 6P has been one of the most-favorite Android smartphones especially with the pure Android experience and the budget-friendly price that could actually be an affordable version of Google Pixel. There have been rumors that after what happened to Nexus devices, Google might actually retire the Nexus 6P without bothering to launch a refreshed handset.

The lawsuits are piling up before the Pixel 2 comes out and now tech crowds are waiting for any update that could convince them, that the impending iPhone rival will be much different than the rest Nexus devices.
