The fan's disappointment from the slacking MacBook Pro 2016 iteration is likely to go down the drain when Apple's portable machine 2017 version will come out. Several reports suggest that the selling point of MacBook Pro 2017 will be the 32GB configuration.

If there's one ideal step for Apple to take on the next version of MacBook Pro, it should be doing away the Touch Bar which macOS reportedly cannot sustain; not to mention the cold response from the consumers. For this reason, the 2017 iteration of Apple's portable machine is expected to be more innovative.

Speaking about being innovative, recent reports suggest that the 32GB configuration will end up as the high-end version of MacBook Pro 2017. Apple's executive Phil Schiller reveals that achieving such capacity of RAM would need a DDR memory which Intel Cannon Lake offers, i4u reported.

Intel Cannon Lake is considered as the first Intel chipsets to be built with 10nm process thus, reducing the power consumption and supports higher-capacity of RAM. If this thing pushes through, the MacBook Pro 32GB configuration will not be released until 2018 since Cannon Lake chipsets shipment will start on the onset of 2018.

As the high-end version, MacBook Pro 32GB configuration will be powered by AMD Radeon Pro GPU (RX 500 series) and could along with four USB Type-C ports. The laptop is also said to be consuming less power because of the new Intel chipset.

On the other hand, Kaby Lake and Coffee Lake will be out of the picture but are still expected to find their ways towards the lower-end versions of the next MacBook Pro. The two processors are expected to eliminate the issues from the current MacBook Pro such as the popping sound that comes from the computer, BGR reported.

Apple has not released any official statements yet about the upcoming models of MacBook Pro but fans continue to presume that the laptop will be released sometime in October for the lower-end versions and January of 2018 for the high-end ones.
