Rounding up the previous reports, the iPad Pro Mini will sport a few features found in the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Alongside the other iPad Pro successors, the mini Pro tablet is said to be as powerful as the bigger siblings since the A10x chip will reportedly be on board.

iPad Pro Mini Specs, Features

Tech enthusiasts can hardly wait for the new iPad Pro 2 that will arrive next month but one tablet that could steal the attention during the debut is the iPad Pro Mini.

Apple's smallest Pro tablet is said to pack an A10x chip with 3 gigs of RAM on board. The powerful offerings will also include four speakers, TrueTone display and Smart connector. A Smart connector will enable the tablet to connect with a keyboard. In comparison to iPad Mini 4, the device does not have Smart connector feature but users can still use Bluetooth outfit. That said, if the iPad Pro Mini comes to fruition, it will feature a Smart connector just like its bigger Pro siblings.

Specs-wise, the iPad mini model will likely get a 12MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera. The current iPad 2017 gets 8MP sensor and obviously the Pro model needs to have a raised camera quality compared to the non-Pro variant.  When the iPad Pro 9.7-inch model arrived in 2016, Apple made it compatible with Apple Pencil while charging the stylus can use the Lightning port. This specific support is expected to be found in the upcoming iPad Pro Mini.

The iPad Pro Mini will offer extra functionality that the iPad Mini 4 does not. For some, it would be hard to accept such powerful specs to be squeezed in a small tablet but for the portability sake, fans might find it versatile and particularly useful.

iPad Pro Mini Release Date

It is worth to note that the Mini model will not be as cheap as the iPad 2017 but it should be able to deliver more advanced features and better performance. iPad Pro Mini release date will likely fall sometime in May or June 2017, TrippedMedia reported.
