It's the buzz of the gaming and tech world. Microsoft is now getting ready for a huge gaming play, probably biggest for this year. Microsoft's upcoming next-gen game console, Xbox Scorpio, is about to reveal in full at the upcoming Microsoft's E3 event on June.

The Redmond-based software company this week announced that its upcoming next-gen game console, Xbox Project Scorpio, will be at this year's big E3 gaming event. The 4K-ready, high-spec, premium game console will finally make its first big public appearance at the big gaming event, where Microsoft is expected to officially reveal the new console and share new details about the upcoming console, The Express reported.

At the upcoming E3 event, Microsoft is expected to unveil a whole new kind of game console, something powerful than the previous one and even its rival. Analysts believe that Microsoft has already learned from the past, with the Xbox One console that has suffered from sloppy, meandering sales pitches that emphasized a doomed digital strategy. As a result of its recent ineffective gaming strategy, the company was left with nothing but a system that was slower and more expensive than Sony PlayStation 4, which now more focused on games and power.

In a recent blog post, Xbox Division chief Phil Spencer made a huge announcement that the company is too excited to unveil its upcoming Project Scorpio along with its amazing gaming experience at the much-awaited E3 event on June. Interestingly, Microsoft has also started to talk more about the final hardware specifications and the much talked virtual reality, including its gaming potential.

Meanwhile, the software giant has started to share new details about the console's dev kits. The Xbox Scorpio dev kit is said to look very similar to the previous consoles, featuring almost the same white frame and form factor.

However, there are some big important requirements when signing for dedicated Xbox Project Scorpio dev kit. Interested parties should need to be an official or certified Microsoft partner, this can be done either through third-party arrangements or the recently introduced ID@Xbox indies program. Similar to the previous console, the Xbox One, and Xbox One S, they need to head to the Universal Dev Center to unlock the Xbox dev kit functions for their console, according to Games Radar.

As for the console's final specification, the brain or the CPU of the console will be much faster now, about 30 percent much faster the previous console, Xbox One. The GPU has also received a big boost, which said to be 4.6 times more powerful than Xbox One.

In addition to the GPU and CPU, the memory has also received some changes, it now sports a whopping 8GB of memory, a slight jump from the 5GB found in the original Xbox One. The rise in memory capacity would allow the Xbox Scorpio to process art assets, making it easier for the console to run a 4K resolution visuals even at higher speeds. Other hardware highlights include a 4K-ready UHD Blu-ray, a massive 1 TB 2.5-inch hard drive, and a 12Gb GDDR5 memory. To learn more, check out the Xbox Scorpio video below:
