Microsoft Azure Tools and Resources

More enterprises showed interest on the hybrid cloud approach introduce where they can use public cloud and run applications in their own data centers simultaneously. This new approach is known as Azure, introduced by Microsoft to the public few months ago.

Microsoft announces that eighty percent of their client enterprises have decided to migrate to Azure cloud, thus, the Windows-maker provided tools for them to migrate in a smooth and secure manner. These new tools and resources put emphasis to Microsoft's hybrid cloud program.

First on the list of Azure's tools and resources is the Cloud Migration Assessment where clients have the knowledge on the costs and benefits of moving over to Azure.  This tool provides analysis reports on servers and hardware, The Register reported.

This comes along with Azure Hybrid Use Benefit where clients get 40 percent discount on Windows Server licenses and virtual machines. Migrating information and applications to Windows server has become convenient through Azure Site Recovery.

Lastly, Microsoft has made it easier for clients to store customer information through Azure Active Directory. This tool is built with access management system where business-to-business collaboration is the main focused.

Microsoft Azure Advantages

Microsoft Azure has many advantages over other cloud servers like Amazon Web Services. One of these is the ability of an enterprise to grant its partner an access to a cloud-based project or document where credentials like e-mail address is required, GeekWire reported.

But the company needs to add a certain partner to its network first before an access is granted. On the other hand, an Azure user is also allowed to sign-in into the cloud server through social media accounts to avoid user's system crash in the event that users sign-up simultaneously.
