Microsoft continues to pour out exciting features to Windows 10 on its latest version, the Creators Update. On the other hand, Windows Vista has officially killed off without getting any single strand of security updates in the future.

Windows 10 Creators Update Features

The third version of Windows 10 is about to arrive to every desktop and laptops but in a staggered manner. Nevertheless, the next operating system is said to be packed with exciting features that would satisfy the needs of every user in terms of applications.

To start with, Microsoft is obviously trying their luck in global web browser market as Windows 10 Creators Update brings update to Microsoft Edge. Aside from getting support for 4K Netflix, Cortana's new tricks and e-books, Microsoft-owned browser introduces organization of tabs to avoid clutter.

Another major Windows 10 Creators Update is the 3D content of MS Paint. This feature aims to target creative individuals who are now able to create 3D shapes and share them in social media or better yet, send it directly to 3D printer, PC Advisor reported.

Next is the blue light reduction at night akin to iOS and Amazon's mobile OS. App throttling is also added in Windows 10 Creators Update where background apps deprioritizes from getting too much of computer's resources e.g. battery, memory.

Windows 10 Creators Update also gets new features related to gaming such as Game Mode and Built-in Broadcasting. The former will give enough resources to the game that is running while the latter will open up to interactivity in the game where players can stream their game activities.

Farewell, Windows Vista

The unloved operating system Windows Vista has finally bid farewell last Tuesday as Microsoft announced its official discontinuation. However, unlike Windows XP, Vista won't get any security updates in the future which makes the OS even more hated than before, The Register reported.

To recall, Windows Vista was released in 2007 and struggled in the market. The OS usage has seen hit the rock bottom without even reaching one percent market share which is why, Microsoft decided to withdraw support for development.
