Search giant Google has some big news for smartwatch users. Google this week announced the rollout of the latest Android Wear 2.0 update to a handful of supported devices. Google made the big announcement this week.

It has been almost two months since the Mountain View-based company officially launched Android Wear 2.0, a version of Android OS that has been primarily designed for smartwatches and other wearables. This week, Android Wear 2.0 is rolling out to only a handful of supported devices, which include Tag Heuer Connected, Fossil Q Founder (Gen 1), Fossil Q Marshal, Fossil Q Wander, Nixon the Mission, Polar M600, Casio Smart Outdoor, and Michael Kors ACCESS. All in all, a total of 19 devices will be handed the Android Wear 2.0 update during big Google's roll out this week. However, the Android Wear 2.0 update will be late for Huawei and LG devices.

Additionally, there's also some reports swirling in the web that the Android Wear 2.0 update has already reached the second generation of Fossil Q Founder series. In fact, one user has recently posted a screenshot on the web, confirming that the Wear 2.0 update is now rolling out for the 2nd Gen Fossil Q Founder, the XDA reported. The latest Google's Android Wear 2.0 update adds a number of new features on board. These include a newly revamped design, new options for watch-powered apps and a new feature that will allow the user to reply using on-watch gestures.

In other Android Wear 2.0-related news, Google has reportedly fixed the issue in Android Wear 2.0 for Huawei and made a confirmation that Huawei owner will receive very soon. Google's Hoi Lam, who work for Android Wear in London, has posted recently on Twitter, confirming that Google had experience with an issue with Android Wear 2.0 on the Huawei Watch.

Lam also apologized for the huge delay, saying that the Android Wear Team hit some problem last week. However, Lam has not made some comment about the timeline or release date, saying that Huawei Watch users will be receiving Android Wear 2.0 update very soon. Reports said that the upcoming will enable the NFC chip within the Huawei Watch to allow Android Pay to work with it.
