As the world's first mobile-maker, Motorola has never ceased to prove that their phones are legendary. Here's a brief review of Moto Z, one of the most popular Motorola smartphone with impressive features and specs and a hint about its possible successor which sounds more captivating. 

Motorola is known for manufacturing the first mobile phones with antenna as one of its trademarks. A decade later, a major shift in technology has hit the mobile market that led to the introduction of mobile phones which features touch screen and several applications.

Despite the major consumers' shift, Motorola goes with the flow and come up on its own innovation of smartphone technology. One example of it is the Moto Z which is considered as a quiet favorite of Android users especially its 2016 iteration.

Moto Z (2016) powerful performance is attributed to the 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage (expandable up to 2TB via microSD). The device is backed with 2600 mAh battery that supports Turbo Charging, BGR India reported.

What makes the Moto Z (2016) legendary is the impressive 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash, 30 fps of 4K video recording and 60fps of full HD, optical image stabilization (OIS) and 5MP selfie snapper. The device also sports connectivity features like 4G with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, NFC and USB Type C.

The legendary performance of Moto Z (2016) handset gives birth to its predecessor called Moto Z2 which is slated to launch alongside Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. Motorola refuses to give details about the device but credible tipster Evan Blass suggests a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset that supports gigabit LTE, 9 to 5 Google reported.

If that's the case, Moto Z2 will be a tough competitor of the newly released Samsung Galaxy S8. The device is also expected to support Moto Mods and expected to be released in the second quarter of 2017 specifically June as Moto Z (2016) is also released on the same month.
