Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 is one of the most talked about products in the mobile industry besides the powered-devices. This year, there will be a couple of premium flagships, such as Galaxy S8, Pixel 2, Nokia 9, that reportedly will come equipped with the latest chipset but there has to be one that stands out from the crowd.

Samsung Galaxy S8

The leaks are real. Samsung plans to unveil Galaxy S8, reportedly on April 29. That means, soon the world will witness a revolutionary bezel-less flagship arriving with many more advanced features - starting from Bixby voice assistant, VR compatibility, to an inevitably sharp OLED display, Forbes reported.

After the Note 7 debacle, experts believed that Samsung needs to put more efforts to earn the consumer trusts once more. Reports have shown more interest on the Samsung's folding device, Galaxy X, than the S7 successor.

HTC U

A few reputable sources reported HTC U leaks that suggest an ample of advanced features. For instance, a 6GB RAM and a virtual fingerprint scanner are expected to ship with the handset. Based on reports, HTC is making HTC U a VR-focused smartphone - which could highly attract a set of a specific market.

Nokia 9

The rumored Nokia 9 is said to put Galaxy S8 to shame. Aside from the Snapdragon 835, the new Nokia Android phone will feature an iris scanner and OZO technology to enhance the audio experience.

If all of the speculative reports come to fruition, Nokia 9 will be one of the serious rivals in premium category as it comes equipped with 22 MP dual-lens camera from Carl Zeiss and a whopping 3,800 mAh battery, NDTV reported.

There is no further detail whether Nokia will release a specialty premium device or simply try to take on Samsung.

Google Pixel 2

The Pixel successor is expected to run the latest Android OS out of the box. Google will most likely to tweak the optics and just like the Nexus handsets, the company will give the utmost support for the impending Pixel 2.

Aside from the rumored dual-lens module, there hasn't been any special feature being reported so far. The Pixel 2 is likely to be an upgrade from the predecessor with a few revamps including OLED display and more fingerprint gestures.
