Bungie's next big space-themed first-person shooter game is making another big headline this week. A new "Destiny 2" leak has just revealed Bungie's expansion pass plans and the game's character transfer from the original Destiny game.

The latest game leak suggests that "Destiny 2" will be releasing its first DLC expansion in the winter of 2017 and the second one on 2018. The new "Destiny 2" info have been revealed courtesy of some leaked documents received at gaming retailer GameStop, the PlayStation Universe reported.

Bungie's next first-person shooter game has been officially revealed this week, proving that the recent GameStop leak to be true. Hours after the GameStop news, another employee from the gaming retailer GameStop has shared on the net two key documents that provide new details about the upcoming space adventure game. That information said to come from game publisher Activision and developer Bungie. Reports also said that it contain new details about the game, including the release date for the first two DLC expansions, which slated for Winter 2017 and Spring 2018.

In other gaming-related news, the original Destiny game will continue to exist and will not shut down even the sequel "Destiny 2" makes its market touchdown. This also means that Bungie has no plans to ditch the original Destiny title, but instead, the developer has announced this week that it will continue to support the original game for a while longer.

In a recent interview with Games Radar, Bungie community manager David "DeeJ" Dague revealed to the media that "Destiny 1 is still a game and Bungie will continue to support Destiny for some time. However, the community manager didn't provide a timeline for this, not even some clue about how long the game will do, the Game Rant reported.

Bungie's next surefire hit "Destiny 2" is slated for launch this coming September 8 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. There's also a planned beta version, which said to arrive sometime ahead of the official September launch date. Meanwhile, while waiting for the much-talked "Destiny 2" launch date, Destiny fans can still enjoy the Age of Triumph. Destiny is currently available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC.
