Xiaomi Mi 5, Lenovo P2 and a few more handsets have been updated to Android 7.0 Nougat. The update will also roll out to Moto X Pure and Galaxy 6s soon 

Xiaomi seems to be catching up with the other premium flagships as the Mi 5 is now receiving Android Nougat. The push is available for download on its official website but OTA update might get delayed.

It is worth noting that the Mi 5 still uses MIUI 8 custom skin but Xiaomi has promised to release MIUI 9 soon with a few adjustments on the notification and fingerprint as an additional password, plus optimizing the device performance, Android Headlines wrote.

Mi 5 is one of Xiaomi's high-end handset rocking a Snapdragon 820 chip and 4 GB RAM. It packs 16 MP rear shooter with OIS 4-axis and PDAF features.

Lenovo P2 India

Android Nougat has now been pushed to Lenovo P2 in India. It reportedly requires at least 2GB of space. It looks like Lenovo has a fast pace in bringing the latest Android firmware to its devices. Lenovo P2 was introduced earlier this year with Android Marshmallow OS pre-installed. It has a 5.5-inch display and a massive battery of 5,100 mAh that Lenovo claims can live up to three days.  

Meanwhile, HTC 10 owners who use Verizon carriers can now taste the Nougat treat as the company has announced the rollout. The new software version with build number 2.41.605.12 comes with a few improvements including new notification orders and Data Saver, GSM Arena reported.

Moto X Pure to Receive Android Nougat Soon

Moto X Pure is reportedly undergoing a soak test. The software update has been released to a few units to ensure the stability before rolling it out to a wider range. The device is expected to receive Android 7.0 Nougat update soon.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Nougat Update in Canada to Rollout on April 10

Galaxy S6 Canada will start to receive Android Nougat update on April 10 as confirmed by Telus carrier. This is the latest addition after the software's been rolled out to European users.
