Razer Blade Stealth is Razer's first attempt on productivity-based laptop which is proven excellent by its 2017 model. The most beautiful and powerful but way cheaper ultrabook has reportedly outperformed the 12-inch MacBook Pro 2016 in many aspects. See the following review of Razer Blade Stealth 2017's performance and features.

Design and Built

The aesthetics of Razer Blade Stealth (2017) is quite identical with the original version which sports a sleek and super-sturdy black metal frame. The ultrabook weighs 1.29 kilogram, portable enough for travelling and has a width of 13mm thick, Forbes Advocate reported.

The individually lit RGB keys which are usually found in gaming laptops are the most interesting feature of Stealth. The keys are capable of showing any colors like green or combination of bright neons, rainbow waves and reactive animations.

Display

The entry-level Razer Blade Stealth (2017) features a full-HD screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution which caters gaming with native resolution and consumes less battery. The high-end one on the other hand, sports a UHD display with 3840 x 2160 resolution with touchscreen capabilities and capable of delivering greater clarity, Hexus reported.

Performance

The performance of Razer laptops has reportedly improved since 2013. The current versions of Razer Blade Stealth are powered by Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, 16GB of DDR4 memory and 6GB onboard memory. The entry-level offers 512GB of internal storage (costs $1,499) while the high-end one offers a massive 1TB storage (costs $1,849), Windows Central reported.

Connectivity

On the left side of Razer Blade Stealth (2017) are the headphone jack, dual USB 3.0 ports and power supply connector. HDMI output, another USB 3.0 port and Thunderbolt 3 are located on the right side as well. The laptop also comes with a built-in Wireless AC (killer 1535), Bluetooth connectivity and USB-C peripheral but microSD card slot and Ethernet jack are nowhere to be found.
