iPad Pro 2 will reportedly be manufactured in limited amount and distributed to more countries. Find out more!

Why an April release is highly unlikely

Previous rumors and tips about the iPad Pro 2 didn't come to fruition but Rhoda Alexander, an analyst from IHS Markit seems to make everything clearer now. According to Alexander, Apple will likely manufacture a limited amount of the iPad Pro 2, specifically the 10.5-inch tablet.

The reason is unclear but a US launch is still expected, before releasing the refresh to wider consumers across the globe. Furthermore, the latest reports have hinted that Apple may not launch the new iPad Pro models in April as the company still needs to wait for the components.

John Gruber made a good point when he stated an October release for the iPad Pro 2. His reason is that a thin bezel is something to look forward in 2018, not 2017. Hence, a Q4 2017 announcement is more plausible, Mac Rumors reported.

Moreover, the reason reports pointing on a March release was that they're expecting an update of a 1-year-old device. However, since Apple is gearing up for the major revamps, skipping the timely fashion is acceptable, isn't it?

That being the case, Apple WWDC 2017 might not highlight the highly-anticipated iPad Pro 2, but an iOS 11 release. Fans shouldn't either expect any MacBook unveiling but paying close attention to the keynote might give clues on what's coming.

iPad Pro 2 rumored specs and features

After the new iPad 2017 was launched recently, Apple still has two more models to be introduced, a 10.5-inch and a 12.9-inch tablets. Reports on iPad Pro 2 specs mention a powerful A10 chip on board, along with the True Tone display, magnetic Apple pencil, and the removal of Home Button, Mirror reported.

One thing for sure, is that the next few Pro models won't be as cheap as the iPad 2017.
