The Nintendo Switch restock is happening this weekend in all Toys R'Us branches nationwide with every local store confirmed to have at least 10 units while Amazon, Target, Best Buy and GameStop to get more stocks in the coming days. Demand for the console is high given its novelty and versatility with a Reddit user recently uncovering a new vertical playable mode for "Neo Turf Master."

A sure way to have a Nintendo Switch is to buy it Amazon but at a steep premium, but buyers are duly cautioned to take extra care, making sure to buy only from retailers with plenty of feedback to avoid being scammed. However, for those who want to buy the console at retail price, the Nintendo Switch restock will happen at Toys R'Us today. Stores will open at 9 a.m. but buyers are advised to come hours earlier. It is also reported that Target, Best Buy, and Amazon will also get a restock after a few days.

GameStop already received its Nintendo Switch restock earlier this week and the consoles were gone in just a few hours. GameStop COO Tony Bartel revealed to investors that GameStop may be chasing supply for the entire year for the popular and highly in-demand console. This could only mean that the Nintendo Switch is an excellent platform and it also helped that it has a stellar title to play it with, the "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." Bartel added that Switch buyers often buy the "Zelda" with a one-to-one ratio, US Gamer reported.

Nintendo actually promised to beef up its production with its manufacturing partners so multiple Nintendo Switch restocks may be happening soon after. Meanwhile, as demand soars, the Switch continues to surprise with new revelations as discovered by Reddit user HandsomeCostanza that the Switch can be played vertically. This was uncovered in one of the "Neo Geo" titles called the "Neo Turf Masters" available in the Switch eShop. Though there are some logistic difficulties involved with the fingers, the uncovered mode has a potential especially for games designed for the vertical mode like "Ikaruga," according to Polygon.
