Moto G5 Plus is the latest smartphone released by Lenovo to compete with the existing mid-range smartphones in the market today. However, several reviews done for the new device suggest that Moto G5 Plus is not just an ordinary mid-range smartphone, but it can also compete with the premium handsets because of its great android software and decent-enough hardware combination.

Lenovo dresses Moto G5 Plus with a new look which has eventually become the most notable feature of the smartphone. Unlike the plastic back found in Moto G4, the new device sports a shiny metal all-around that comes with aluminum on the rear not to mention a spill-proof design because of an internal nanocoating and creak-free frame, The Verge reported.

Android Nougat has also brought a difference and some tricks to Moto G5 Plus. One of it includes the replacement of Android's on-screen buttons with the following swiping gestures: swipe left for the back's function, swipe right to pullout multitasking view and swipe right twice for quick app switching.

In relation to that, the home button also acts as the fingerprint reader where access to e-mails, Facebook and other sites are allowed through a little bit of space in the screen. On the other hand, Google Assistant can also be triggered using the home button.

Moto G5 Plus' camera is also built with remarkable camera sensor similar to Samsung Galaxy S7. The camera app boasts a "Professional Mode" which allows the users to control everything spanning from white balance to ISO and 4K video recording that requires adding a 128GB micro SD card, CNET reported.

And to sum it all, under the hood of Moto G5 Plus is a kicking ass Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and a 3000 mAh battery adaptive to fast charging which gives the phone a satisfactory batter life of 4 to 6 hours of on-screen time. The new device comes in two variants - 64GB internal storage with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with 2GB of RAM, both of which are expandable via micro SD card.
