Blizzard Entertainment made it known that a map editor will be launched to its team-based multiplayer first-person shooter game, the "Overwatch." The video game company also released the PS4 and Xbox One full patch notes to the game.

Blizzard Entertainment unleashed the multiplayer video game "Overwatch" in May 2016. The game features a number of different maps, such as the Hybrid maps, Escort maps, Arena maps, Control maps, Seasonal event maps, Assault maps, and a lot more. With this, players are hoping for an "Overwatch" map editor.

As the video game company knows that "Overwatch" players want a map editor in the game, video game director Jeff Kaplan revealed that the company would release a map editor eventually, according to Blizzard. Kaplan stated that they are extremely open-minded about unleashing a map editor for the game someday.

Nonetheless, "Overwatch" players need to wait longer as map editor is a huge task and can't be made available to the public anytime soon. Also, the game rolled out with a brand new engine. The video game director stated that the "Overwatch" map editor is on their long-term road map and the video game company believe heavily in user-made content.

On the other hand, Blizzard Entertainment rolled out the PS4 and Xbox One full patch notes to "Overwatch." The update 2.08 of the game features general game fixes, character nerfs and reactivation of certain game modes. The "Overwatch" patch is about 300MB in size. The update 2.08 features a nerf for Orisa and Widowmaker heroes, Express reported.

Currently, PC, PS4, and Xbox One acquired the "Overwatch" character Orisa. The game's 24th hero comes along with a protective and supportive skill set. Nevertheless, the new "Overwatch" character can't be used in a Competitive Play. Blizzard explained that players must try the character out first rather than jumping in the ranked game mode.
