-   Dual camera

Galaxy Note fans surely want to hear this. Samsung is rumored to develop a dual-lens camera module for its Galaxy Note 8. If rumor is to be believed, tech crowds can see a head-to-head battle between both giants in Q4 2017. The iPhone 8 Plus will retain the dual camera while Galaxy Note 8 will debut with the feature.

The dual camera module was supposedly meant for Samsung Galaxy S8 but familiar sources claimed that the South Korean company decided not to use it for the S series.

-   3D Touch Display

Samsung isn't the only one reportedly working on OLED 3D Touch. Apple has been rumored to equip its iPhone 8 with a 3D Touch technology as part of the flagship upgrade. The pressure sensing technology could be similar to Huawei P9 but more advanced than that.

This would mean a big improvement for the Note series since writing with the stylus will result in different strokes, depending on the push. A 3D Touch display enables a smartphone screen to employ sensors beneath the glass, Recombu has learned.

Furthermore, Galaxy Note 8 is said to rock a 4K display and thinner bezels. It is highly likely for Samsung to increase the display size for Note iteration up to 6.2 inches, PC Advisor wrote.

-   Powerful chipset

While iPhone 8 gets ready with A10X chip, Samsung has been working on its 10nm process for the upcoming flagships. Albeit the uncertainty of which device will be getting the Snap 835 chip, the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 is one of the candidates. It will reportedly support up to 28 MP camera sensor. A piece of evidence from TechDigg said that 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage could be in tow.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will reportedly debut in August or September 2017.
