Aside from customizing the appearance of their Ryder characters, they can also add some historic information to their creation. They can also select the focus of their previous training, which will unlock abilities and skills at the start.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will provide waypoints for players to follow to their next objective. They are advised not to follow those waypoints and just explore the world they are in to gain additional weapons, gear, resources, and some information.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" players will have to gain a lot of Research Data in order to craft custom, powerful weapons and armor. This is the reason why it is recommended for them to scan everything they encounter on their journey like corpses, weapons, minerals, technology, and many more.

Reading, listening, and making conversations in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" are important

While traveling throughout the many worlds in "Mass Effect: Andromeda," players are advised to check out all of the Datapads or computer terminals they encounter. It will contain messages, notes, or audio logs that will either have important information, trigger side quests, reveal locations of new weapons, and many more. They are also advised to converse with the locals of the Helius Cluster and the members of the Andromeda Initiative.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" helpful menus and shortcuts

According to another post on IGN, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" has several menus and systems for players to navigate through, and some of them have their own secrets. One of the helpful menus is the Consumables feature where they can equip up to four in their loadout. They can take different types of ammos, and the shield capacitors.

When players hold the Y or the Triangle button while in "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" Nomad Ryder, they can be instantly extracted from explorer. This will be helpful for those who want to leave the planet they are exploring quickly without them walking back a long way to the Tempest.
