After initially debuting under T-Mobile as the LG Aristo, the LG K8 is slowly making its rounds with other U.S.-based carriers offering the cost-friendly device. U.S. Cellular followed the lead of T-Mobile but now it appears Verizon will be offering it as well.

The LG K8 coming was spotted via the official Bluetooth SIG member website where it recently got certification under model number LG-VS501. Assuming nothing changes along the way, the LG K8 is expected to carry the same features that the first two mobile carriers offered to its customers.

Among the features of the LG K8 include a 5.5-inch HD (720p) display powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor that is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Other notable features for the LG K8 include 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD), a 13 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front-facing shooter and a 2,500 mAh battery. It is expected to come out with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, Android Soul reported.

The LG K8 is considered one of the best smartphones that money can buy, armed with good aesthetics despite being a budget phone. Pricing for the LG K8 for Verizon has yet to be revealed, both for contract and no-contract options according to CNet. U.S. Cellular offered it for $375 outright so Verizon is reportedly offering the device for $144 though it was not mentioned if this is with or without a contract.

For people looking for a fashionable and price friendly phone in the market, the LG K8 should be worth considering. It is best suited for folks looking for a simple phone without the works. If not as a new phone, the LG K8 could also come in handy as a second phone for folks who hold have more than one line.
