Apple surely knows how to create a buzz as new reports concerning the iPad Pro 2 2017 lineup drew attention for the comeback of its 9.7-inch variant. In addition, the said iPad Pro 2 iteration will be the first Apple product to showcase the follow-up technology of A9X. Thus, this reboot could reveal the first model of the four new iPad Pro 2017 class.

According to Mac Otakara, Apple will be announcing the 9.7-inch iPad Pro 2 variants which will headline the first wave of Apple devices set to be released for 2017 schedule some time in Mar. 20 to 24. The said announcement is reportedly aimed to dominate the mid-range phablet and tablet market ahead of the official rollout for the other three iPad Pro 2 models.

iPad Pro 2's 9.7-inch version was first released a year ago, 9To5Mac, reported. Although the said iPad Pro will have just a bit of upgrade, the report claims that the changes enlisted for the 2017 version are eminent. Amid the lack of design update and minor changes, this iPad Pro 2 unit will sport the A10X iPhone chip.

This 9.7-inch iPad Pro 2 chip will boost the device's CPU and will provide a better graphic performance. It is also said to take on the previous design including the Smart Keyboard and Apple Pencil. These minimal changes, however, suggest that this latest addition to the iPad Pro 2 2017 lineup is headed to a down-market.

In addition, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro 2, along with the other models, will come in 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB versions, the same goes for iPhone 7 roster. These iPad Pro 2 models will be available in Space Grey, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold. Meanwhile, Tech Buffalo noted that this iPad Pro 2 model is expected to sell at $599.
