"Overwatch's" 24th hero Orisa will officially join the fray and go live on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 21.

Orisa goes live

The massive Orisa, or as Blizzard calls her the "anchor tank," is one damage-absorbing hero, just like Reindhart. Engadget describes Orisa as a mix or Reindhart and Zarya. The difference is she having four legs, being a robot, rebuilt from an OR15 defense bot by an 11-year-old genius, Efi Oladele of Numbani.

Blizzard also describes Orisa as "the central anchor of her team." She is able to protect her teammates with a barrier, slow enemies down by the use of graviton charges, and supercharge her team by using a drum to augment their damage. Orisa has been available for play on the Public Test Realm (PTR) since March 2.

Orisa is capable of environmental kills by using her gravity ball that pulls enemies towards it once detonated. On top of it all, she has the ability to nullify Reindhart's charges and other knockback abilities once she activates her Fortify ability, according to Eurogamer. Check out her origin story in the video below.

"Overwatch" on the Nintendo Switch

Though the Nintendo Switch is not as powerful as the PS4 and Xbox One, "Overwatch's" streamlined style and system requirements are not that demanding. Game director Jeff Kaplan recently commented on the possibility of "Overwatch" becoming part of the Nintendo Switch games list.

Kaplan notes that it would be very challenging for them; however, he also said that they are always open-minded in exploring possible platforms. It is not clear as to what he meant by challenging, he did not elaborate if the challenges he mentioned refer to technical or from a business standpoint.

Technically, it is understandable if what Kaplan met as challenges is by keeping balance. "Overwatch" currently has three versions of the game on PC, Xbox One, and the PS4, considering console, versions are tweaked differently for the PC.
