Apple Inc. did not pitch in yet the official details as to what the tech company intends to do next where it concerns the highly anticipated iMac 2017. Nonetheless, the iMac 2017, which is expected in Apple's March event, could possibly boast a VR feature, as well as a mixed macOS and iOS operating systems.

It's been a long time since the Cupertino based tech giant updated its iMac. Nevertheless, the statement of Apple CEO Tim Cook seems to stay in the minds of tech fans that desktop continues to be important to the tech company. According to Mac World, the tech giant may be switching to a new hybrid operating system, a fusion between macOS and iOS. Since iOS apps are getting more extents than the macOS, it would be sensible if the tech company decides to launch this hybrid OS in the much awaited iMac 2017.

Meanwhile, tech analyst Nate Mitchell doubted the VR capability of the iMac 2017. Mitchell claims that Apple's main priority as of now is not the VR feature of the iMac 2017. Nevertheless, the upcoming iMac 2017 could possibly be packed with an AMD Ryzen processor, which perfectly fit for a VR-ready PC. All seems to be very promising, but it's important to note that Apple did not created the iMac for gaming.

In terms of the possible iMac 2017 specs, tech fans are hoping the Apple device will come along with Intel's latest chipset to boost its processor all the more. Rumors are springing up one after the other that the iMac 2017 will be available with a 27-inch screen along with a 5K resolution, a 32GB of RAM on top of the 2TB Fusion Drive, PC Advisor reported. Also, the iMac 2017 is expected to be available with an initial price tag of $3,199.99. In spite of that, there's still no official iMac 2017 release date has been announced yet.
