Apple is expected to unveil its new line of iPad Pros as early as next week though the guess is on as to how many tablets will be shown. At least three tablets are believed to be coming out, the 9.7-, 10.5- and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro variants.

Now, analytics firm Firksu claims that there are four iPad Pro devices that cropped up in their logs. These are tablets used to test applications running on iOS 10.3 beta and early builds of iOS 11, 9 to 5 Mac reported. The four new devices were identified as iPad 7,1, iPad 7,2, iPad 7,3 and iPad 7,4.

Do the Four iPads mean anything?

Take note that the alleged four iPad Pros could mean nothing as well. For the ones following the latest news on Apples upcoming tablets, there is a 7.9-inch being suggested in the mix. The smaller tablet is being groomed to be a possible replacement to the iPad Mini 4, an improved miniature tablet that may come with Apple Pencil support and possibly a Smart Keyboard accessory, Slash Gear reported.

For quite some time now, there is growing belief that Apple will streamline its iPads, suggesting that the iPad Air and the iPad Mini series will be integrated instead. These are more of speculations with the Cupertino company opting to keep things under wraps.

iPad Pro 10.5 could be delayed

The recommended iPad Pro of the mix is expected to be the 10.5-inch variant. It will reportedly feature better screen resolution than the Retina displays, come with four microphones, and armed with quad speakers. The only problem here is that these iPad Pro models are not expected until late 2017.

That goes against the buzz that the iPad Pro 2017 variants are expected to come out between March 20 to 24, Mac Rumors reported. There is a chance that Apple may release only a couple of tablets, possibly the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch variants. Regardless of how many are coming out, tablet buyers just want to see a refreshed model and then worry about its size.
