The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus Android smartphones were unveiled during the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) event. During the hands-on with the latest flagship smartphones from the Chinese tech company, the Moto G line-up has been noticed going premium.

The Motorola Moto G5 comes along with a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen and a full HD display. The device also features a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP front snapper. Also, the Moto G5 smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, a 2800 mAh battery, Android 7.0 Nougat, 2GB or 3GB of RAM, and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, expandable by 256GB through a microSD card.

Meanwhile, the Moto G5 Plus features a 5.2-inch Full HD display as well as a 3000 mAh battery, according to First Post. The Moto G5 Plus boasts a 12MP f/1.7 rear shooter with dual-LED that supports 4K recording, paired with a 5MP f/1.2 front snapper. The Moto G5 Plus is packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, with 2GB or 3GB or 4GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB internal storage options, and its microSD slot can support up to 256GB storage.

Nevertheless, three retailers in Netherlands, Belsimpel, Mobiel, and GSMwijzer, have the Moto G5 Android smartphone in stock and ready to be shipped with a price tag of 199 Euros. The unlocked and SIM-free model of Moto G5 is the same handset that consumers were able to pre-order in Germany. According to GSM Arena, this could indicate the official recommended retail price of the Moto G5 for the Eurozone.

In spite of that, the Moto G5 Plus could be available for a €289 or about $309 when it hits the store shelves. The expected availability of the Moto G5 Plus is in April 2017. Nonetheless, the Moto G5 smartphone still has no official release date in the U.S.
