The Nintendo Switch sets a record-breaking opening with demands continuously rising that stocks are now hard to come by unless buyers know where to find them. Physical and online stores are almost reaching zero availability, which Nintendo should rectify soon especially with the coming of new games with the latest March 9 release of eight new titles via the Nintendo e-Shop.

The Nintendo Switch is experiencing low stock across the globe with U.S. stores already out of stock. Third-party sellers are still selling the console to more than $400 as against an MSRP of $300. A $600 bundle is currently available at GameStop and will launch on April 16. However, an inventory at brick and mortar stores will be happening soon and would-be buyers better stay tuned on these two sites, the Nintendo Switch with Gray Joy-Con and the Nintendo Switch with Neon Blue and Neon Red Joy-Con. According to BGR, supplies in these Amazon sites often appear and disappear with some selling for the retail price while others are at a premium.

Meanwhile, retailer GameSeek recently revealed to MCV magazine that the Nintendo Switch is now hard to come by in the U.K. and Nintendo has not disclosed any definitive date regarding restock. The console is currently unavailable at Game and Amazon U.K., though the latter disclosed that more stocks are coming by March 31. In Australia, only a few stores still have stocks like EB Games. Even "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is experiencing shortages with the boxed version no longer available in Amazon U.K. and U.S. and even in Game.

Clearly, Nintendo needs to meet the soaring demand especially with the coming of the "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" in April. The Nintendo Switch stock needs to be improved as new games are being added every month like the latest March 9 release of 8 new titles now available in Nintendo eShop according to Express Online. These games include "Blaster Master Zero," "The King of Fighters '98," "Nam-1975," "Waku Waku 7," "Metal Slug 3," "World Heroes Perfect," "Shock Trooper," and "Voez," the only touchscreen-only game as of now. Another title to add to the 2017 lineup would be the new "Back in the Groove" from ToeJam and Earl.
