Canadian carrier Rogers will launch the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge handsets starting March 20. Meanwhile, Vodafone has started the update for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge smartphones in Europe.

Rogers Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge users will be notified regarding the Android 7.0 Nougat update starting on March 20 when the rollout kicks off. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge owners in Canada who do not get an over the air notification for a few days can try to manually check the update by heading to their handset's Settings, About Phone, and then Software Updates, according to Droid Men. Just like the previous Android 7.0 Nougat updates, it will take a few days after the update to get reflected on the owner's handsets. Nonetheless, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge owners will just have to be patient, as these users will automatically see an update notification when the Canadian carrier launches the update through OTA.

After a successful installation of the Android 7.0 Nougat update, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge users will be able to experience all the main features of the update. The Android 7.0 Nougat update to the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge handsets comes along with several performance improvements, redesigned notifications, new user interface (UI), better battery life and a lot more.

On the other hand, the British telecommunications company Vodafone has started to make the Android 7.0 Nougat update available for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge in some European countries, such as Italy, Ireland, Romania, Netherlands, as well as in the United Kingdom, Sam Mobile reported. Also, a number of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge users in Bulgaria, Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Hungary, Turkey and Greece may be able to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update now.
