The all-new Mercedes-AMG GT finally rolled out during the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

Its front end looks quite primitive with huge terminator-like grills. In fact, the mouth of the car appears to be a grinning Neanderthal man with an oversized jaw. The company actually aimed for "extremely muscular" details with the latest technology installed under the hood.

Mercedes-AMG GT: Detailed Design

The Verge reported that the Mercedes AMG GT features golden wheel decorations, bronze brake calipers, and awesome elongated taillights. It has a carbon fiber roof connected to a body planned to be covered in any warm color such as red, orange, pink, or yellow.

Moreover, the headlights sport "Nano active fiber technology" while the side-view mirrors have ben replaced with miniature cameras at the back. The side sills and front spoiler of the Mercedes-AMG GT were also made out of light but strong material to cut weight. Meanwhile, the windshield is steeply raked like its sports car variant.

The Mercedes-AMG GT provides three modes of operation. It can run through electricity, gas, or a combination of both for maximum performance. Lastly, the vehicle's vertical ribs, side gills, and thin LED headlamps are AMG design cues. For the record, the auto shutters in front, side air intakes, and central exhaust lead to the design of the AMG GT-R series.

Power Preview: Mercedes-AMG GT

According to Architectural Digest, the Mercedes-AMG GT sits at a whopping 805hp in terms of speed. Tobias Moers, the AMG CEO, confirms the fusion of a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine and a powerful electric motor. Consequently, the car can sprint from zero to 100kmh in just three seconds.

The 4MATIC + all-wheel drive system of the Mercedes-AMG GT is complemented by an electric motor that directly controls the rear wheels. Additionally, drivers can allocate torque to wheels individually through a process called "torque vectoring". Its hybrid drivetrain was patterned from the Wo8 EQ Power+ of the Mercedes Petronas Formula 1 car.
