More devices are receiving Android 7.0 Nougat at the moment. One of the most exciting features of the software update is Google Assistant, the voice assistant rivaling the likes of Apple's Siri and Amazon's Alexa.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are the latest phones to receive Android 7.0 Nougat. The handsets were supposed to get the update in February, but Google delayed it to ensure zero hiccups.

The Asus ZenFone 3 and its two models -- the ZE520KL and ZE552KL -- are getting Google Assistant, too, thanks to Android 7.0 Nougat. Asus initially stopped the update rollout because of several bugs detected but fortunately, those issues have been fixed now. The software update will cover around 1.5 GB of storage, according to Android Authority.

Google Assistant has been described by Gizmodo as a smarter AI than Siri and Alexa. Google's voice assistant appears to be more precise when it comes to pulling up information from the internet.

Like Siri, Google Assistant is adept at finding and recommending good restaurants, bars, bookstores and other merchandise stores. The comparisons, however, stop there. Google's AI displays hangout spots in a clean and simpler manner.

Users can just click the restaurant or bar that interests them and they are quickly taken to Google Maps. Siri's results, on the other hand, seem to require more perusal.

Google Assistant is also better at speaking and translating foreign languages. The AI will read back a translated, accented phrase to you with the proper pronunciation and enunciation so you'll know how to speak it properly. Siri also translates foreign languages, but you can't hear how the words are pronounced.

Google boasts of its virtual assistant's capability to sustain conversations and remember what you say. That's one of its advantages over Siri. Google Assistant remembers what your favorite TV show is, but you can always make it forget that info if you want to.

You can also ask the voice assistant to tell you a poem, a joke or even summarize the latest headlines from your preferred news outlets. You can even ask the AI to count from one to 20, or from 10 to zero.

Screen Context is an advanced trick of Google Assistant., according to AndroidPIT. The feature displays all relevant information based on what you're reading or looking at on your screen. For instance, it can show you YouTube or Rotten Tomatoes links pertaining to the movie or TV show that your friend is texting you about.
