Microsoft will launch a major update to its Xbox One gaming console. The engineers of the tech giant will roll out some important new features for the Xbox One to enhance the responsiveness of the gaming system's interface. Also, Xbox One users will be delighted to know that the console now have the squad-based multiplayer first-person shooter game, "Verdun."

Microsoft's major update for the Xbox One introduces a quick menu that launches from the left whenever an Xbox One gamer will hit the Xbox button. An Xbox One player can access everything on their gaming console without having the Home menu minimizing their game. The Xbox One update also comes along with features like Beam broadcasting, according to Venture Beat.

While Microsoft is doing a great job of improving Xbox One's interface, the update is really about making the gaming system faster. The Redmond, Washington-based tech giant removed all the junk that makes the Xbox One run slow. Jumping from a game for the console's menu system is now reliably fast, and an Xbox One player wouldn't have to wait for loading to do a basic task.

On the other hand, after the "Verdun" video game was launched on PC in 2015 and PlayStation 4 in 2016, the squad-based multiplayer first-person shooter game is now available on Microsoft's Xbox One. The Xbox One edition of the video game was delayed for the reason that the game's development team needed additional time to create a true trench warfare experience, Game Reactor reported.

Nevertheless, the video game is said to be the first realistic multiplayer first-person shooter game, which is set in World War I. The "Verdun" video game comes along with a trench warfare, period-accurate weaponry as well as uniforms. Xbox One's new game was inspired by the largest and longest battles of World War I, the Battle of Verdun in 1916. Moreover, the video game features maps based on real battlefields in Belgium and France.
