People have ranted about the possibility of Samsung recycling the Galaxy Note 7. They need not to worry because it won't likely happen.

Galaxy Note 7 refurbished? Probably not

It is estimated that Samsung still holds around 4 million units of Galaxy Note 7, all of which are left wasted, and the parts (except the battery) are in good condition, Android Central has learned. This leads to a convincing speculation that that Samsung will make them useful again by planting some to Galaxy Note 8.

The rumors of Galaxy Note 8 taking a few hardware items from Note 7 have been circulating for months but it is highly unlikely, that after Note 7 debacle, Samsung would take the easiest shortcut.

On the opposite, Samsung applies 8-point battery check for its future flagships where each sample will go through a two-week test. Moreover, the components in Note 7 might not all fit to Note 8. For instance, the successor is expected to use 4K resolution panel to be compatible with Gear VR, according to Mic. Note 8 will be getting a larger screen, too.

That being said, both phones sport different specs and features. Samsung will up the processor speed and RAM to make Galaxy Note 8 more powerful. A Snapdragon 835 will be on board along with a 6 GB RAM and it is expected to come in two models with the 4 gigs being the standard variant.

Galaxy Note 8 will definitely feature an iris scanner but previous leak suggests that Samsung will move it to the rear panel. This is to give more room for larger display without home button, PC Advisor said.

Aside from the safer battery, Samsung could equip its premium flagship with larger capacity, up to 3,500 mAh. Galaxy Note 8 will also get wireless charging feature and possibly run Android 8. Although the Note is slightly higher than the S series, the premium flagship will have similar offerings to Galaxy S8, such as Harman Kardon audio system, voice-activated assistant, Bixby; and Samsung very-own UI, TouchWiz.

Since there's no authorized information that support the refurbish issue, it may be too early to state that Galaxy Note 8 will be a product of recycle.
