AMD might have revealed its Vega 10 chip architecture but there haven't been a lot of details to dig so far. However, there are indeed, a few clues that suggest how powerful the GPU is.

AMD's important event in May

AMD will launch Radeon RX Vega after RX 500. The GPU is said to be the game-changer in the computing industry. It's unclear why AMD chooses a different launching date for Vega 10 and RX 500 series but it can be argued that there's something inevitably awesome coming in May; that it has to be released in a dedicated event.

The fact that RX 500 will arrive first in April is a strong indication that AMD is saving the best for last.

Vega 10 GPU may be as good as GTX 1080 Ti, or better?

When AMD introduced RX Vega, the company claimed it is built on a new technology that will improve the performance and power efficiency. Furthermore, it supports various devices.

Radeon RX Vega gets 16 GB HBM2 manufactured on 14nm process. It simply suggests that the Vega 10 will be a fierce contender of the Pascal-based GTX 1080 Ti.

Moreover, AMD reportedly ups the speed while making its Vega card power and heat-efficient. For the top tier GPU, those features are necessary, according to Trusted Reviews.

Radeon RX Vega graphics card could be more affordable

Early speculation suggests that AMD might set a lower price than Nvidia's GTX 1080 Ti - below $699. This is plausible as the sales will promise more profit streams when the demand increases.

Regardless of the marketing gimmicks, those looking for a good graphics card would consider the price as one of their buying decisions.
