Microsoft is gearing up to increase the promotion of its Xbox Project Scorpio native 4K gaming in the coming weeks and months leading up to the console's highly anticipated 2017 Holiday release. The tech giant aims to make the Xbox Project Scorpio as a step up into 4K gaming.

Although Microsoft is pushing the Xbox Project Scorpio to deliver a true 4K gaming, nonetheless, tech analysts are doubtful if the Xbox Project Scorpio can live up to its hype. It has been said that the beefed up specs of Xbox Project Scorpio won't really deliver a robust, fluid native 4K gaming. Also, the 4K chops of Microsoft's upcoming gaming system might even end up being unimportant for gamers, according to 4K.

Microsoft's vigorous effort of claiming the native 4K gaming specs in Xbox Project Scorpio will be a major marketing hype compared with purchasing the device for an actual 4K gaming. Wherein, game enthusiasts could easily opt for an Xbox One S or Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro if they want a great HDR gameplay experience. The Xbox One S or Sony's PlayStation 4 Pro can offer upscaled 4K or HDR-enhanced HD games.

In spite of that, as the Xbox Project Scorpio is slated for a 2017 Holiday release, the gaming system is dubbed as a premium console. Xbox boss Phil Spencer claimed that the upcoming gaming system is for gamers who purchase the majority of games, and spends the most hours just to play such video games, according to Game Spot. Spencer also stated that as Xbox Project Scorpio is a premium console, he is not ashamed to admit that the forthcoming console would really come at a price. Furthermore, the Xbox head also revealed that the Xbox Project Scorpio will likely be unveiled during Microsoft's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2017 event, which will transpire on June 11.
