Players get the chance to command the French army in one of the world's bloodiest wars through "Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass".

As early as March 14, "Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass" will be made available to users who own the $50 Premium Pass. Regular players are expected to get the expansion pack later on March 28. Apparently, three more expansion packs are set to arrive soon.

'Battlefield 1': New maps, tanks, & missions

According to PC Gamer, "Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass" includes four new maps, two tanks, a special force, and one more weapon. The maps feature the French cities of Verdun Heights, Fort de Vaux, Soissons, and Rupture. The St. Chamond assault tank partners with the massive Char 2C super-heavy tank.

Meanwhile, the Trench Raider Elite Class appears in the game as well. Also, a very powerful stationary weapon, the Siege Howitzer, is being put into play. In the same manner, two new "Battlefield 1" operations, the "Devil's Anvil" and "Beyond the Marne", are coming in the next few days. Lastly, the latest game mode, the "Frontlines", features a fight for control in a tug-of-war manner.

In addition, a 10-hour free trial arrives on March 3 at 5 p.m. (Pacific Time) until 10 a.m. on March 6. The "Battlefield 1" tester will showcase four multiplayer modes on five maps. Lucky enough, the trial version then releases the first two War Stories in the single-player mode.

Other expansion packs - 'Battlefield 1 They Shall Not Pass'

According to Gamespot, three more expansions are planned for "Battlefield 1." They are called "Turning Tides," In the Name of the Tsar", and "Apocalypse". There are still no official release dates announced for these packs. Nonetheless, details about the upcoming expansions are already widely available.

"Battlefield 1: In The Name Of The Tsar" takes place in the snow-covered ravines of Lupkow Pass. Consequently, "Apocalypse" permits players to go over the top in the most infamous battles of WW1. "Battlefield 1: Turning Tides", meanwhile, is the amphibious warfare during that time.
