The rumors on 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 have been sketchy in describing how Apple would design the upcoming tablet but a recent report suggests that it will ship with 2224 x 1668 resolutions display.

While this is an important feature to know, it is disappointing to learn that the new iPad will sport the same pixel density as the current 9.7-inch tablet. Furthering the detail, analyst Rhoda Alexander from HIS Markit said that fans will get the same 9.7-inch dimension but with a larger screen aspect ratio due to the shrunk bezel, Forbes reported.

Aside from the size and smoother navigation, there isn't much to laud about the upcoming iPad Pro 2 speculations as chatters haven't gone far in telling us what's under the hood. On the other hand, the overloaded information on Apple Pencil 2 seems to be more interesting to discuss as it will reportedly get much more improvements in 2017.

A report originated from China suggests that this year's iPad will be launched alongside Apple Pencil 2. And judging from Apple's patent leaks, the next-gen stylus is expected to be integrated with the Smart Cover. 9to5Mac said that Apple will solve the current issues of functionality limitation by bringing more compatible apps for Apple Pencil, including annotating contents in Mail and Safari. Reports even hint at the Pencil's ability to be used on a MacBook TrackPad.

Apple is expected to launch a high-end 12.9-inch iPad Pro alongside a new 10.5-inch tablet and a cheaper alternative 9.7-inch variant with A9x chipset. As for the release date, Pocket-Lint has learned from a supply chain that the tablet refreshes will arrive sometime in May or June.
