iPhone 8 is six months away from its expected release date as Apple's 10th year anniversary flagship offering but reports are unending and just recently two major updates, confirmed and unconfirmed, surfaced online. The high expectation for the major facelift happening within the iPhone design will now meet equally high-fashioned features like the USB-C port debut and the New Curved Lens.

According to TIME, iPhone 8 will debut a different charging port. Yes, Apple is reportedly planning to ditch its signature Lightning Connector port to give way to the current trend, USB-C. Since 2012, the Lighting Port has been the standard charging outlet for Apple phones particularly the iPhone 5.

In case this iPhone 8 theory is true, this is a landmark shift for Apple who is known for its original trend in accessories and chargers which are undeniably incompatible to other brands. This same feature has made iPhone a trendsetter and a separately independent unit. Although Apple declined to comment regarding this report, its cutting-edge laptop lines, like MacBook and MacBook Pro, exclusively use USB-C ports.

Meanwhile, Apple Inc. is reportedly made its decision to adopt a flexible display for one model of the iPhone 8 set to launch this year, The Wall Street Journal reported. The report also noted that according to people familiar with the matter, the iPhone maker has already ordered sufficient components to enable mass production.

The Curve Design was originally seen in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and will now become iPhone 8's crowning glory. Having this in mind, iPhone users could now expect for their notifications and alerts being displayed along the side of their future devices. This will make more room on the main display and an easier grasp for some iOS functions.

Although the new iPhone 8 design sound perfectly in sync to modern taste, it will be quite more expensive. With a price tag more than $1000, it would cost even more than the current iPhone out in the market which is the iPhone 7 Plus available for $949.
