Resident Evil 7 features three new game modes which would definitely challenge the skills of every player. From the title itself, 'Ethan Must Die" probably is the hardest.

The two other modes in Resident Evil 7 are "Nightmare" and "Jack's 55^th birthday". The former revolves on Clancy as he survives a huge wave of enemies in a dark and low-resourced basement. Consequently, "Jack's 55^th birthday" is more of a lighthearted time trial with party hats, guns, and confetti.

Resident Evil 7: What is 'Ethan Must Die' all about?

In Resident Evil 7, Ethan Winters becomes very vulnerable to enemy attacks, dying after just a couple of shots. According to Polygon, the goal is to survive and kill Marguerite Baker in the greenhouse. Apparently, Players begin with nothing but their knives.

Ethan relies on picking up random weapons from scattered crates. However, some of these crates are actually booby traps that explode once opened. Nevertheless, the majority of the boxes found in Resident Evil 7 offer gunpowder and a shotgun.

Do note that the importance of the item is labeled by color. To illustrate, yellow means common like herb; green is likely a weak weapon; purple commonly represents a strong gun. How to beat Marguerite in Resident Evil 7?

Next is to head towards the basement, which has explosive pressure pads, tripwires, and plenty of Molded to deal with.

There is a bug nest blocking the door at the bottom of the stairs which needs to be destroyed with the knife. Upon entering the boiler room, players will be forced to fight the Molded. The best weapon to use in this situation is the Resident Evil 7 shotgun.

Instead of using the sights, shooting from the hip will allow Ethan to react quicker. With the boiler room duel over, move straight to the record room and grab the greenhouse key from the cupboard but be cautious.Upon facing Marguerite in Resident Evil 7, players may want to conserve ammo, stay on guard, and let the boss come to them.

When she is visible, shoot the bug nest on her crotch with the flamethrower or grenade launcher. Once the fire tanks are empty, just throw the rest of Ethan's arsenal at Marguerite. Resident Evil 7 was released last month.
