Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5) will not go head-to-head against the upcoming Xbox One Scorpio and has been reportedly sticking to its 6-year gap for its next generation consoles. One reasonable speculation for this move is that the nature of the upcoming Xbox console, specifically because it was created to unseat PS$ which stature has become the default console for the current generation of gamers.

According to Wedbush Analyst Michael Patcher who shared his assessment in his YouTube Channel SIFTD Games, PS5 or any bit of hardware from Sony is set to match up the powerful Scorpio lineup. It is no brainer that PS4 is the dominant player nowadays. In addition, PS4 Pro has contributed a more powerful impact on the brand.

So basically the most relevant target for Xbox One Scorpio is the PS5 but to eradicate PS4's dominance in this range. However, Xbox Scorpio's late entry in the scene is like walking in the mud since PS4 has already produced remarkable feat and landmark titles like Nioh and Horizon Zero Dawn including the highly anticipated 2017 releases of Death Stranding and Gran Turismo Sport, Gaming Bolt reported.

Looking back when the original Xbox and PS2 first clash, the former lost since the latter debuted first. To clarify, this does not mean Xbox One Scorpio is not going to be successful of sort their aim is not directed at the PS5. PS4 and PS4 Pro are the walls to bring down.
