A new Windows 10 update is nearing its completion and it features amazing tweaks to the Groove Music and Films & TV apps.

Unfortunately, the latter only works with an early copy of the Creators Update. Thus, non-testers will have to wait for a few more months to use the improved variant of the app. What are the new things showcased in the Windows 10 update?

Windows 10: For musicians & film enthusiasts

According to Tech Radar, Windows 10 now permits Groove Music fans to share one's playlist to another user. It takes place on either social media sites or emails. However, it is important to note that the recipients of the music library should be running the latest version of the software for the transfer to be successful.

Meanwhile, people who are not yet subscribed to the music app will get sample preview snippets. It includes millions of songs to lure in more users. The Windows 10 Groove music update also boasts an extra touch of convenience to make people sign up for the service. Fans are now allowed to text themselves a simple link to install the Groove app on their iOS and Android devices in a seamless manner.

On the other hand, the Films & TV app offers a wider range of video clips. It supports picture-in-picture mode through Microsoft's "compact overlay" window. Basically, the Windows 10 Films & TV permits users to watch a video in a minimized panel. In the US, the app is called Movies & TV.

Build 15042 & 15043 - Windows 10 Creators Update

According to Neowin, Microsoft launches two new Fast Ring test builds as it inches its way to the Windows 10 Creators Update. Build 15042 is particular to PC's while Build 15043 is made for mobile phones. Both provide a lot of fixes to the nearly complete operating system.

For the record, the 32-bit bug has been repaired so either 32-bit or 64-bit PC's could get the Fast Insider 15402 Build. Well, it features a new command to make clear Flash content that has been blocked in Edge. In the same manner, the 15043 Build has a variety of fixes to settings, Continuum, Mail, and Calendar among others. Microsoft is expected to roll out the Windows 10 update this coming April.
