Why Pixel Phones are No Better than Nexus Phones?

• Unimpressive Battery Life - while Nexus 6P is known for being still alive after 24 hours, the case is totally different from the Pixel phones. According to Android Pit, the battery holds a charge only because it heats up more than Nexus 6P does.
• Dull Physical Looks - what netizens dislike the most about the phone is its bland physical features that lack design inspiration. To recall, when Google release the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, many have admired the phones' build and even called it as unique and one of its kind.
• Embarrassing Digital Assistant - Google Assistant is an exclusive-feature of the phone yet it is regarded by some as embarrassing because of the high error rate. According to CNET, it can now control smart home, still it doesn't make any difference at all.
• Not Waterproof - since Pixel phones came with a high price, netizens are expected to see features such as waterproof and dustproof only to find out that there are none. For this matter, Samsung Galaxy S7 and iPhone 7 are the only smartphones that are worth their prices.

Will Google Revive the Nexus Brand for Smartphones?

The announcement of Google regarding the discontinuation of Nexus lineup has turned many hearts broken due to the fascination they had for Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. And as of this writing, a possibility of the brand-revival is not likely to happen anytime or not at all.

A year from now, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P will join the list of devices who are thrown outside the window of Google two-year update guarantee. For this reason, the search giant is going to stop sending updates to the most lovable phones in the history of Google hardware.
