Huawei Watch 2 Notable Features and Specs

Sports enthusiasts are likely to be the target customers of Huawei Watch 2 because of its reportedly sporty style that is evident from its physical appearance. According to Forbes, the wearable is expected to be a heavy-hitter that could probably put an end to Android Wear's mediocrity and will put its rivals to shame.

With this regard, Huawei Watch 2 is undoubtedly running the latest wearable OS from Google the Android Wear 2.0 which is packed with new features and functionality. Leaked image even suggest that the watch is likely to offer cellular connectivity because of the spotted nano-SIM slot located at the bottom-end of the face.

Looking from the outside, Huawei Watch 2 is said to come in 42mm case with an option of leather or stainless steel strap. The wearable also feature a 1.4-inch display and available in three color options - orange, grey and speckled grey.

Furthermore, two buttons are spotted from Huawei Watch 2 in which presumed as general Home Button and dedicated App Button. In addition, optical heart rate sensor and charging pins are also spotted that spark some rumors that the wearable is likely to carry an IP protection.

What's more interesting about Huawei Watch 2 is its smartphone-like capability like making calls through the built-in SIM available upon purchase. According to Pocket-Lint, this functionality is the first of its kind in a Smartwatch under the standalone functionality.

 Huawei Watch 2 Release Date and Price

Huawei is believed to be bringing the sporty Watch 2 alongside the Huawei P10 smartphone in Mobile World Congress to be held Barcelona, Spain. The LG Sport competitor is rumored to have a price tag of $315.
