Good news to all Nexus tablet lovers! Google Nexus 7 is tipped to launch at the end of this year with overhauled specs, features and adjusted price. Read more to find out about the new specs that lie in the heart of Google's most powerful tablet!

A More Practical, Relevant and Powerful Google Nexus 7

The tablet industry is not as profitable as the smartphone but this will not stop Google from coming off with another exciting tablet this year. Google Nexus 7 or as presumed by others as the Pixel 7 is tipped to have undergone a major overhaul on specs and features to make it more practical, relevant and powerful device compared to rival.

To be able to come out with such powerful device, Google is expected to bring Android 7.1.1 Nougat to Nexus 7. For this reason, the tablet is said to have an improved performance compared to its predecessor that runs older versions of Android such as the Jelly Bean, Gigjets reported.

When it comes to hardware, Google Nexus 7 is reportedly powered by Qualcomm's latest chip, Snapdragon 825 coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. What's more interesting is that Qualcomm Snapdragon processors are the ones that powered the Pixel phones; thus, experience is highly anticipated from the upcoming device.

For the display, Google Nexus 7 will be the first one to utilize the AMOLED technology that features an impressive screen resolution of 2560 x 1440. And if this becomes reality, the upcoming device will have an edge from its toughest competitors, iPad Pro 2 and Surface Pro 5.

Two New Interesting Facts about Google Nexus 7

What will make Nexus 7 stand out from the rest of its rivals is the support for Virtual Reality. Google release Pixel phones as VR-ready, the same thing is also expected from the upcoming tablets because of its marketability today.

Next thing, Nexus 7 might not be Android-based but will run the hybrid OS called Andromeda. According to Neurogadget, the device is likely to generate more sales because of the combined flexibility of its presumed OS.
