According to Tech Crunch, Oppo MWC 2017 appearance on Feb 27 was confirmed via Weibo. In 2016, Oppo focused in releasing selfie-centric gadgets such as the Selfie Expert series. This segment includes the likes of the F1 and the F1 Plus alongside the R9 and the R9 Plus.

This year, the Chinese phone maker has nowhere to go but straight towards better photography experience for fans. Consequently, through the Oppo MWC 2017 product debut, the firm will give its users the opportunity to capture "highly detailed images." Aside from that, not much information is available as of now as the company keeps its playing cards close to its vest.
