Suspected live images of the highly anticipated HTC One X10 smartphone have been leaked once again. Indeed, the deepest secrets of the new handset are now exposed.

Renowned tipster Evan Blass released similar images of the HTC One X10 last month. Allegedly, mobile handset will have a fingerprint scanner at the back. The photos were spotted on Weibo showing a metal unibody, sizeable screen and dual-LED flash for the rear camera.

HTC One X10: Full specs

According to GSM Arena, the HTC One X10 will not support a dual cam setup. Nevertheless, the gadget sports a 5.5" full HD display with 1080 x 1920 screen resolution. A decent 3GB of RAM thrives inside the X10 while a power button sits on the right side along with the volume rocker.

Based on earlier HTC One X10 leaks, the "affordable" mid-range phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P10 eight-core chipset. The processor is clocked at 1.9GHz. Apparently, this is slower than its predecessor, the HTC One X9, which is packed with a more capable Helio X10 clocked at 2.2GHz.

Per the same source, the HTC One X10 features a 16MP rear camera that complements a 7.9MP selfie cam. The device might come in handy with a 32GB built-in storage as well. For the record, the X10 was certified in Russia along with six other handsets from HTC last November.

Price and release date of the HTC One X10

Gadgets 360 reported that the HTC One X10 was expected to be launched last January. However, the tech firm only released its U Ultra and U-Play variants. Well, Blass still believes that HTC will unveil its third smartphone in the first quarter of 2017.

Meanwhile, various price speculations are trending online. For example, GSM Arena claims that the HTC One X10 may retail for CNY 2,000, which is roughly Rs 19,500. On the other hand, Gadgets 360 stressed that the handset sells for a lower CNY 1,200 or $174.

If the latter information is correct, the HTC One X10 may be trying to compete with Meizu and Xiaomi. I other words, HTC appears to be hitting on the "cheap but good enough" market this year. At the moment, the company did not issue any statement to prove these theories yet.
