iPad Pro 2 Undergone Specs Bump

Last 2016, the credible tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the Apple will release a second generation iPad Pro in 2017 and he is likely not to be mistaken. The device will be called iPad Pro 2 and will feature 12.9-inch and 10.5-inch screen sizes and will be powered by A10X, Apple's proprietary mobile chipset, according to MacWorld.

Aside from two new size variants, iPad Pro 2 is also expected to feature the True Tone Display which originally can be found from its predecessor. In addition, fans are also expected a folding iPad Pro 2 where hints can be taken from the recent patent activity of Apple exploring a foldable phone.

Furthermore, iPad Pro 2 is reportedly sporting an almost bezel-less screen. To be able to do this, Apple will remove the physical Home Button and integrate the Touch ID to the screen but the remaining bezel on the top will house the front-facing Face Time Camera.

Apple is expected to dominate the market this year because it is reportedly debuting four iPad variants in March. According to SlashGear, the Cupertino-based giant wants to capitalize more now on their tablets thus, a top to bottom refresh is heavily expected.

With all the specs bump mentioned, iPad Pro 2 is likely to be the key to bridge the gap between the sales of iPhone and tablets, most especially when the upcoming device is reportedly running the latest version of mobile operating system, the iOS 11.

iPad Pro 2 Release Date

Since Apple is known for its tradition of unveiling iPads upgrades on March of each year, the same case is expected for the upcoming iPad Pro 2. Apple Insider reported that the March event would be the first media event happening in their new corporate headquarters.
