Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Rebranded

Due to the heavy brand destruction brought by Galaxy Note 7 in 2016, Samsung is rumored to undergo Galaxy Note 8 a rebranding to be able to do away with the negative vibes from last year's demised. The handset's new name might have something to do on its S-Pen functionality which has been revealed in a Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo.

Accordingly, it is no doubt that Samsung would release Galaxy Note 8 with an S-Pen accessory on it most especially now that the South Korean tech firm has already started teasing the public about Exynos chipset, WCCF Tech reported. Exynos chipset is Samsung's proprietary chipsets that can also be found in Galaxy S7 units as well as the upcoming Galaxy S8.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Radical Design Leaked

 Samsung has reportedly save the best for Galaxy Note 8 most especially when it comes to the smartphone's design. In fact, Forbes learned that some of the eye popping plans of Samsung for the new handset include an AMOLED display with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) which could possibly mean a support for Virtual Reality.

If 4K display can make It to Galaxy Note 8 this year, it is by far the second smartphone to feature such kind of technology display next to Sony Xperia Z5. Aside from VR platform support, 4K display also aims to reduce the power consumption of the device through the use of OLED panels.

Other Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Rumors

Software-wise, aside from the fact that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will run the latest Android version out-of-the-box, Sammobile reported about the inclusion of a new digital assistant named "Bixby" with core functions akin to Apple's Siri and Android's Google Assistant. Samsung looks forward to integrate Bixby not only to premium smartphones but also to TVs as well.
