Will Negan and Carl die in "The Walking Dead" season 7? Will they survive the apocalypse? Who will be the last man standing? Recent spoilers hint the fate of these two characters in AMC's horror drama series.

Here's What Will Happen To Negan

Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) may be a dysfunctional father-like figure to Rick's son, Carl (Chandler Riggs), the last time fans saw him interact with the boy. And it seems like it will continue until the very last chapter of the series.

According to Popsugar, Negan will live longer than fans expected him to be. He will survive the apocalypse -- yes, he will. Adding on, his character's fate is still an open-ended question.

In the comic book, Rick attacks Negan but the former police officer realizes that he is surrounded by his opponent's men. In the end, Rick ends up alive while Negan heads back to the Sanctuary to prepare for an upcoming "All Out War".

The first part of the said war ends up with Negan bombing Alexandria. The next battle shows the latter with a new plan -- he and his men decided to cover their weapons with "zombie guts". When Negan attacks Rick and his men, the latter ends getting shot with an arrow. All hell breaks loose, at the end, Rick tries to convince Negan to join forces with his group to fight the zombies. However, he then slashes Negan's throat... don't worry, he is, again, can survive this near death situation.

Rick will keep him alive, living in the basement for two years. Carl, on the other hand, knows where Negan is and he visits him and talks to him naturally (though he still wants him dead). Until now, it still unknown why Rick decided not kill the man. What is known so far is, after spending his life in the dark, Negan will eventually have a chance to escape to Rick's grip with another character named Brandon Rose.

Meaning to say, until now (and it seems like even after "The Walking Dead" season 7), as far as the comic book is concerned, Negan is still alive and kicking but he is yet to make an appearance again.

Meanwhile, as for Carl's fate, it said (in a theory) that this character will end up being the "last man standing" in "The Walking Dead" story.Rick ends up getting killed and here's where the story wraps the whole journey of TVD.

Based on The Sun report, a fan theory sees an older Carl retelling the whole story of "The Walking Dead" and about his father.
