Microsoft's recent Windows 10 screw-ups are well covered and documented by media across the globe. And today, the software giant has another trouble on the horizon waiting. But this time it's more different, it's not about the Windows platform anymore, it's an update about a third-person shooter game "Gears of War 4."

Microsoft Hits Another Trouble

Microsoft has another trouble this week as Gears of War 4 has received a monstrous update of a whopping 248 GB. The issue comes via Neogaf user Gowans, who suggested that the Gears of war 4 update has first started with 101 GB only but went up to a whopping 248 GB later, according to Wccftech.

Gowan also explained that after canceling, the Gears of War update restarted to download the entire 101 GB again. This was probably an error from Microsoft Store's end as Gears Of War 4 is said to be around 50 GB in size.

The third-person shooter game "Gears of War 4" was first announced for Xbox One game console during the Microsoft's 2015 E3 conference. The company later announced that the third-person shooter game would also be made available for Windows PC exclusively via the Microsoft Windows 10 store.

The Coalition Teases New Animation Technique

In other gaming news, Steven Dickinson, Senior Technical Animator at the game developer The Coalition, is reportedly set to deliver a lecture on "Motion Warping" technique used in the latest Gears Of War game, Segmentnext reported.

According to the gaming website, the newly developed technique deals in to do more with less. Using less animation to increase the visual fidelity of the third-person shooter game. The panel will be implemented this coming March 1 and also be live streamed.

The upcoming Game Developer Conference (GDC) 2017 is just a few away, and GDC has revealed a new trailer teasing this new animation technique used in the "Gears Of War 4."

Launched in 2016, "Gears of War 4 "is a third-person action-adventure shooter video game developed by The Coalition for the Windows and Xbox One gaming console. The game is the first entry that has not been developed by Epic Games and the fourth main installment in the Gears of War series.
