A Dutch company is slowly fulfilling everyone's dream to take the commuting experience to the sky. With PAL-V Liberty flying car, avoiding hassles of traffic is now available but one must need a licensed pilot to fly. See full details here!

PAL-V Liberty Flying Car

For so many years, many companies have attempted to come out with a flying car inspired by the movies "Back to the Future" and "The Jetsons" but none of them have ever succeeded not until this year. A Dutch company has managed to deliver a flying car which they called PAL-V Liberty that handles both road and skies.

PAL-V Liberty can be switched from driving mode to flying mode and vice versa in just a matter of 5 to 10 minutes. According to Motor Trend, the flying car can reach a speed of 100mph in the road with 0-62 mph in less than 9 seconds while set into driving mode with hidden propellers at the rear side and folded rotors on top.

On the other hand, during the flying mode, PAL-V Liberty can travel up to 112mph in the air with a takeoff roll of 590 feet and 11,480 feet maximum operating altitude. According to Flying Magazine, once the vehicle is in flight mode, the pilot must take off from an airfield or airstrip and not in the road to avoid violations against the regulations.

Moreover, one must also need to have a gyroplane pilot's license in order to fly the vehicle. This is because of the fact that all PAL-V Liberty models are fully compliant with government's regulations and laws.

PAL-V Liberty Flying Car Price and Release Date

PAL-V Liberty flying car Pioneer Edition costs $599,000 and Liberty Sport model costs $399,000 which both come with power heating and introductory training lessons. The company is slated to release the commercial flying cars in the market this 2018 with North America as its expected major market.
