During the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2017 on Feb. 28, the semiconductor company AMD will be holding a special Capsaicin live-streamed event. The focal point of the tech company's live-streamed event will be on graphics technology, wherein, AMD will concentrate on their Vega GPU and Ryzen CPU.

The special live-streamed event will focus on Vega GPU and Ryzen CPU during the largest annual gathering of video game developers. Although the tech giant did not specifically mention the Vega GPU in its press release, AMD has scheduled game developer sessions at the GDC 2017 to discuss about the latest GPU technologies and its architecture. Also, the AMD engineers have scheduled at least one session to talk about the new Ryzen CPUs, WCCF Tech reported..

Tech fans are expecting a larger tease of the AMD Vega GPU, in fact, these fans would really enjoy a massive unveiling of the hottest new graphics and VR technologies at the event. Nevertheless, tech fans will be able to tune in to the Capsaicin Livestream, which kicks off at 10:30 AM on Feb. 28. If tech enthusiasts would want to witness the unveiling of the Vega GPU in person, they can head to a theater turned club, Ruby Skye, which is located at 420 Mason St, San Francisco, CA.

According to VR Zone, the AMD Vega GPU is geared up to take on NVIDIA's flagship cards, such as the GeForce GTX 1080. Nonetheless, game enthusiasts will need to wait for a few months before they can get their hands on the AMD Vega GPU, as the tech company is expected to release the graphics card in the second quarter of 2017. On the other hand, AMD's Ryzen CPUs will be up for grabs soon, as the tech giant is expected to officially release the Ryzen family on March 2, 2017.
