Recent reports suggest that Samsung has referred to Galaxy Note 8 project as "Baikal," which means a deep lake in Russia. Does this description also refer to the specs and features of the upcoming premium smartphone? See full details here!

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is an Encouraging Must-Buy Smartphone

After the Note 7 debacle, Samsung is prepping up the Galaxy Note 8 to fill in the gap that was left by its predecessor, and for this reason, the device is said to be more positive when it comes to features and a must-buy. Support for S-Pen and Quad HD or 4K SuperAMOLED display are among the most anticipated features of Galaxy Note 8.

Accordingly, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is known for their exclusivity on S-Pen stylus support, and for this reason, the premium smartphone is said to retain the upgraded pen. PC Advisor reported that S-Pen stylus gets an upgrade and a new speaker as revealed from Patently Mobile in which the sound will go out at the top of the pen which serves as the internal speaker.

Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is also expected to sport a large screen such as a Quad-HD or 4K SuperAMOLED display making it as the first Samsung phone to feature such technology. In addition, the traditional size of Note lineup which is 5.7-inch is likely to be increased into 6.2-inch; waterproof, dual cameras and longer battery life are highly expected from the device as well.

To waken up the interest of the fans, Samsung made sure to make the Galaxy Note 8 more powerful than the dismissed predecessor, with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or next-gen Exynos chipsets, ARM-based MALI-G71 GPU and 6GB of RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage.

On the other hand, "Baikal" is reportedly the codename of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 project which has recently spotted on the Chinese social media website Weibo. According to Android Community, everyone is expecting Note 8 as a smartphone with deep features and specs as "Baikal" refers to the lake in Russia which is considered to be deepest lake in the world.
